All FAQsGlutathione is a tripeptide your body produces and recycles. It's made in the liver, and found in almost every cell. By the time you are 60, your body produces half the levels of glutathione that it did in your 20s. Glutathione levels can also be affected by lifestyle and diet.
Standard oral glutathione is largely broken down in the digestive tract before it can be absorbed. Liposomal delivery is widely regarded as the gold standard for this: our glutathione is wrapped in phospholipids from sunflower lecithin, which help protect it on its way through digestion. That's why we only sell glutathione in liposomal form: 300mg per 2 capsules, or 400mg per 10ml of the liquid.
Glutathione is found naturally in the body, and many customers take it as part of their skincare-from-within routine. A small number of studies have looked at oral glutathione and skin tone, with mixed results, so we don't present it as a proven skin treatment. Individual experiences vary.
Glutathione is something your body makes itself, and it has generally been well tolerated in studies of daily use over several months. There's no good evidence that taking it stops your body making its own. As with any supplement, check with your GP or pharmacist first if you're pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication or have a medical condition.

Glutathione and GLYNAC (N-acetylcysteine-glycine) are both compounds involved in the body's antioxidant defence system, but they serve different purposes and have distinct roles. Glutathione is a tripeptide produced in the body and found in almost every cell. GLYNAC on the other hand provides the building blocks for glutathione production. NAC provides cysteine and glycine is the third amino acid in glutathione. While both Glutathione and GLYNAC play roles in the body's antioxidant system, Glutathione is the finished molecule, while GLYNAC provides its building blocks.
Both versions of our product work just as well. There are minor differences between the capsule and liquid version. The liquid version has a higher dosage per serving, however one Liposomal bottle finishes around 5 days earlier (25 days) compared to the capsule version. Whereas the capsule version has a lower dosage per serving, but one bottle lasts slightly longer (30 days). We believe that the choice of liquid or capsule version is a personal decision according to the preference of our customers, as there are no major differences between these products. Some people prefer capsules, and for those who don't we have a tasty Mango-flavoured liquid version Glutathione.
Our body produces glutathione, but there are also foods that provide it. Spinach, avocados, asparagus and okra are some of the prevalent natural sources.

Up until recently oral glutathione was poorly absorbed and most of it broken down by the body before entering the cells. Liposomal glutathione contain tiny liposomes, a phospholipid layer, very similar to that of the human cell membrane. This lipid (fat soluble) layer encapsulates the nutrients inside of it until it reaches the blood plasma where it is then directly absorbed into the bloodstream. This means most of the glutathione reaches your bloodstream intact!

The Liposomal technology uses a unique delivery method that allows for a higher number of the nutrients in a product to be absorbed by the body.
